    Installation of CLS Upgrade Kit

Here you will find a guide on how to install the product on your floating device. Please note that the product is not compatible with all types and sizes of floating devices. The products are only available for horseshoe buoys and ring buoys. Once the right type has been selected, the size conformity should always be checked on the basis of available samples.

For all instructions including all safety messages please visit CLS – INSTRUCTIONS page. To see the CLS parts figure, click on the blue reference part numbers in the guide.

    INSTALLATION ON THE FLOATING DEVICE

Using a ring buoy or horseshoe buoy, the procedure is the same. Check the compatibility of the product with your floating device during assembly! If it is not possible to assemble and adjust the product as described below, the product is not compatible with your floating device.

    1. Check on the back of the box to make sure you have chosen the correct product type (for ring or for horseshoe buoy), then verify that the delivery scope is complete.
    1. Slide the plastic insert (14) through the slot of the pocket of the harness (10) so that the insert is symmetrically positioned. (Fig.1)
    1. Lace the straps containing the holder pockets (13) through the slots in the plastic insert (14) so that the pockets open upwards. The pockets shall be on the side where the strap handle (9) is located on the harness (Fig. 2).
    1. Gently press the two ends of the plastic insert (14) together from sides and insert it into the inner arc of the floating device (12). (Fig.3). Be careful! Do not brake the plastic insert!
    1. Secure the harness (10) tightly around the floating device with the wide Velcro. (Fig. 4) Be sure to guide the Velcro under the strap handle (9). The Velcro shall cover at least the pocket of the harness and shall not overhang its own counter-piece by more than 1′ / 2,5 cm.
    1. Secure the holder pockets (13) tightly to the floating device (12) with Velcro. (Fig.5) The Velcro shall cover at least its own counter-piece by 2′ / 5 cm.
    1. Make sure that the rope (6) is reeled on the rope holder (5) over its entire length with loops formed figure of 8 shape and top of each other. If there are also transverse loops around the plastic handle (2), remove them. (Fig.6)
    1. Attach the black carabiner (7) to the towing eye on the harness (8). (Fig.7)
    1. Insert the fingers of the rope holder (5) into the holder pockets (13), then secure the plastic handle (2) tightly to the harness (10) with the holder Velcro (11). The Velcro shall push the fingers (5) into the holder pockets (13) and hold them there. (Fig. 8) The Velcro shall cover at least its own counter-piece by 1′ / 2,5 cm. If the Velcro cannot be adjusted tightly, choose another slot for the strap of the holder pockets.
