CLS Harness Kit – Ring Buoy Version
The CLS Harness Kit is a key functional component of the CLS Upgrade Kit and the CLS Rescue System. It provides a secure interface between a throwable life-saving device and the CLS line assembly, improving handling, throwing ergonomics, and load distribution during rescue operations.
The Harness Kit is designed as a replacement component, intended for maintenance, repair, or partial replacement within an existing CLS system.
What Problem Does It Solve?
Standard ring buoys and horseshoe buoys are not designed for repeated towing loads, controlled throwing, or ergonomic handling by untrained users. The CLS Harness Kit addresses these limitations by:
- creating a defined towing interface,
- improving grip and throwing control,
- distributing towing forces over the buoy surface,
- ensuring immediate use.
