Okay ! But... what is CLS?
The Completed Lifebuoy System (CLS) is a rescue tool system designed to work in synergy with an approved throwable life-saving device. It eliminates common handling problems and helps make rescue actions faster, simpler, and more controlled.
Does CLS address these problems?

- The rescue line and lifebuoy are always stored ready for immediate use. No preparation needed.
- The carabiner connection is intuitive — no knots, no hesitation.
- Improved grip and balanced throwing help increase accuracy and control.

Okay, so CLS is a product?
CLS is not a single product — it is a system. It consists of two elements working together. A standard throwable rescue device, and a complementary innovation – the CLS Upgrade Kit.
The rescue device itself is a standard Type IV throwable lifebuoy. You may already have one, or obtain it from any marine store. CLS does not require a specific brand — only compliance with local regulations.
The CLS Upgrade Kit contains all the innovations that simplify and improve lifebuoy handling during rescue. It is available in two versions: for ring buoys and for horseshoe buoys. Adjustable components ensure compatibility with most standard sizes.
